Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Bridge/Roadway Engineer to join our client's dynamic team in the Engineering industry. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing various transportation design projects, with a focus on roadway design. This is a permanent position that offers great growth opportunities and the chance to work on exciting projects in collaboration with a talented team.

Minimum requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE)
  • Licensed PE in Indiana, with qualifications to obtain the license in other states such as Ohio and Kentucky
  • 7-10 years of experience in bridge design
  • Experience preparing structure plans for DOT projects.
  • Experience using the AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Manual
  • Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
  • Must have a valid driver's license

Additional Desired Skills and Experience
  • FHWA 2 Week Bridge Inspection Course or one week course for Professional Engineers
  • Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD
  • Bridge inspection experience
  • Experience with Bridge Inspection Reference Manual
