Bilingual Network Engineer (English & Spanish)

Our client, a professional services firm, is looking to hire a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Network Engineer for a 3 month contract. The Network Engineer will work remotely and report to the network engineering manager to ensure the delivery of reliable and defect free network infrastructure for new and existing buildings. The customer's production network serves members that are distributed across 300+ buildings and located in 20+ countries around the world.

The network engineering team is responsible for operating that network reliably and at scale. As a member of the team, the consultant will have a direct impact on network infrastructure design and feature enhancements to keep our systems running smoothly. The consultant will be focused on creating engineering solutions to operations problems, optimizing existing systems, building infrastructure and eliminating work through automation. The consultant will also be responsible for monitoring network performance, coordinating planned maintenance, adjusting hardware components and responding to network connectivity issues.

Required Skills:

• Must be bilingual with both fluent English & Spanish
  
• 5+ years' experience with network installation, configuration and support
  
• CCNP level candidate (Juniper certs is a plus as well)
  
• Ability to handle escalated incident management in partnership with NOC team
  
• Ability to serve as point person for wired/wireless issues for the department
  
• Ability to troubleshoot, remedy and/or escalate network related issues within the defined networking SLA / OLA model and processes
  
• Experience with network builds and deployment is a must!
  
• Hands-on experience with a wide array of networking vendors including Juniper, Cisco, Brocade & Ruckus and cloud environments. (Cisco and Juniper are priority)
