You will work closely with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our software meets the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute manual test cases on various software applications to ensure they meet functional and non-functional requirements.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
- Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing to ensure resolved issues do not affect other functionalities.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to understand requirements and provide feedback.
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Participate in test planning and requirement analysis.
- Report test results and provide insights to improve product quality.
- Stay updated with the latest testing techniques and tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in manual software testing.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with API testing and database testing.
- Familiarity with automation tools and willingness to learn automation testing.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Basic understanding of programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.
