Summary:

We are seeking a Vice President of Business Development to take on a pivotal, high-visibility role across one of our 15 different sectors. This position will involve close collaboration with senior leadership to align mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities with the company’s strategic growth goals. You will be responsible for driving business development efforts, executing deals, and managing key stakeholder relationships both inside and outside the organization. With a particular focus on the roofing platform, the ideal candidate will bring deep experience in industrial sectors like Construction, Roofing, Plastics, Chemicals, Distributed Workforce, Security Guarding, Energy Services, and more. Also have a proven track record in leading M&A initiatives in any of these industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead M&A strategy, including deal sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and post-merger integration.
  • Identify and foster relationships with potential acquisition targets and strategic partners to expand market share.
  • Drive corporate development efforts such as joint ventures and strategic alliances.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, legal, operations) to oversee due diligence, deal structuring, and integration.
  • Build and maintain relationships with investment bankers, legal advisors, and other key external stakeholders.
  • Manage financial modeling, valuation, and competitive analysis for prospective deals.
  • Ensure seamless integration of new businesses while maintaining operational excellence in one of the 15 different.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in business development, M&A, or corporate strategy within construction, building materials, or related sectors.
  • Proven track record in leading M&A transactions and partnerships in high-growth environments.
  • Strong financial acumen with expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and risk analysis.
  • Excellent negotiation and deal-making skills with experience handling complex transactions.
  • Exceptional leadership and cross-functional team collaboration skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed domestically and internationally.
