Description:
North American Video Corporation or NAVCO for short is an established commercial security installation and services provider. They have a nationwide footprint. Their local office is in Burr Ridge. They are in need of 1 CCTV Installation technician to support their customer base in and around the Chicago land area and other clients throughout the state of Illinois. TEKsystems has been supporting NAVCO in the Chicago Market for the past 8 years. We have placed at least 6 technicians with them over this period of time so we have a good track record supporting this customer.
* They need candidates with solid structured cabling experience who also have experience installing either CCTV, Access Control systems and or Security Systems in a small business or commercial environment. They don't need experience with all three systems but at least one. Typically we are able to find folks with at least the CCTV Camera installation experience.
* This role will be 100% installation work.
* NAVCO's Customers are ware houses, financial institutions and branch locations, small businesses like super markets and gas stations, ETC.
* The majority of the work for these installation technicians will be in and around the Chicago area but there are occasions where they will need to travel to other parts of the state for projects. That is only 10% of the time.
* . NAVCO will provide company vehicle, major tools, gas card, lap top computer and will reimburse for any over night travel.
* Technicians will be paid from Portal to Portal and will be bringing the company vehicle home with them every night.
* The work primarily takes place M-F during day time hours but there is occasional evening and Saturday work depending on the specifics of the projects.
* This is a Contract to Hire opportunity with NAVCO.
* We are looking for someone experienced in structured wire installation/termination, cctv installation, alarm system installation, and card access installation.

CCTV - March, openeye, Milestone, avigilon
Alarm - Dmp, Honeywell
Access control - Lenel, keyscan, s2, keyscan
