  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.

  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Success Profile:

The Assistant Designer will assist the design team to seamlessly deliver samples and help with the entire product development process for the dress line. They will strategize with team members to ensure operational excellence.

Reporting to: Design Director

Brand/Product Focus: Dresses – Day and Social

Location (On-Site): New York City, Midtown Manhattan – Fashion District

Responsibilities & Daily Task:

  • Cost Cards
  • Pass design development from design office to production for orders.
  • Maintain sample room and keep fabrics in order. (pass work to cutter and sewers)
  • Track samples overseas and domestic.
  • Keep showroom samples organized.
  • Organize swatch library based on vendor and quality.
  • Photoshop CAD work and cleaning garment images for FileMaker operating system.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience
  • BA in Fashion Design
  • Experience in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop CS, MS Excel, and MS Office Suite
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral

The pay range for this position is: $50,000 - $65,000 per /year.
