Job Posting: Project Coordinator - Hybrid - Strongsville, OH

Location: Hybrid - 2-3 days in the office

Rate: $28 per hour

Preferred Industry Background: Project Administration or Scrum Master background

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project documentation and organization
  • Maintaining project plans
  • Managing tasks and tracking progress within Jira
  • Organizing project documentation in Confluence to support project efforts
  • Communicating project status and updates to stakeholders

Must-Have Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Jira and Confluence
  • Strong business communication skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with MS PowerPoint and OneNote
  • Understanding of project financials

Preferred/Flex Skills:

  • Experience with Clarizen and SharePoint (form development)

Summary:

The main function of this role is to assist and support the assigned Project Manager(s) in executing project objectives, planning, and controlling project risks. The Project Coordinator will work alongside the Project Manager but will not be directly responsible for the full delivery of the project.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support project administration and reporting
  • Add resources to projects and maintain risks/issues log
  • Complete weekly status reports in Clarity under Project Manager’s direction
  • Perform weekly project data quality reviews
  • Update project status in SharePoint
  • Help create meeting agendas and manage project documentation
  • Assist in tracking project expenses and financial reporting
  • Review timesheets and monitor project metrics (EVM, CPI, SPI, Run and Burn Rate)
  • Coordinate project meetings and may facilitate Scrum ceremonies for Agile projects
  • Generate meeting minutes and manage SharePoint calendars for project sprints
  • Support lessons learned and retrospective sessions

Skills:

  • Knowledge of Clarizen, Jira, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Basic understanding of project management methodologies (PMLC, SDLC, Agile/Scrum)
  • Effective communication, organizational, and planning skills
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • Problem-solving and customer-focused mindset
  • Interpersonal skills and professional attitude

Education Requirements:

  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience in a similar role
