Robert Half’s client is looking for an experienced UX Researcher for a 6-month contract with a strong possibility of extension. This role is primarily remote, with occasional onsite meetings in either Seattle, WA, and has a top W2 hourly pay rate of $55.00/hr. The ideal candidate will work closely with our design and product teams, using research insights to create user-focused solutions and improve key business areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with design and product teams to interpret research data, implementing and promoting best practices for customer experience.
  • Evaluate the technology landscape to identify challenges and develop impactful solutions for high-priority projects.
  • Design and execute detailed research studies using various methodologies to inform product development and features.
  • Conduct research activities such as user testing, remote testing, prototype evaluations, concept validation, surveys, and workshops.
  • Communicate findings clearly to diverse audiences, advocating for a user-centric development process.
  • Work independently and adapt to an agile environment, effectively handling ambiguity.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a UX Researcher or in a related role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in applied research within enterprise product development.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing relevant research projects and methodologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of best practices in mobile/desktop design, data management, and usability principles.
  • Proficient in analyzing both qualitative and quantitative product metrics.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in the full research cycle, including study design, recruitment, moderation, analysis, and reporting.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to communicate research insights effectively across teams.
  • Proven ability to manage large, complex projects successfully.
  • Strong grasp of both qualitative and quantitative research methods and their application.
