About the Role

Dream Catch is looking for a talented, kind, self-motivated Graphic Designer to join our team for an initial three-month trial period. In this role, you will be responsible for creating visually compelling and informative designs that effectively communicate our clients' messages and advance their missions. You will work closely with our team to develop a variety of materials, including:

  • Collateral: Brochures, flyers, reports, infographics, and other print and digital materials.
  • Web Layouts: Website mockups and design assets.
  • Email Newsletters: Engaging and informative email templates.
  • Presentations: Visually appealing presentations for client meetings, conferences, and webinars.
  • Annual Reports: Design and layout visually appealing annual reports that showcase our clients' achievements and impact.
  • Social Media Graphics: Design and layout visually appealing annual reports that showcase our clients' achievements and impact.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years proven experience as a Graphic Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills and experience.
  • Experience working with nonprofit organizations.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Experience with Canva and PowerPoint is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passion for social justice and commitment to equity and inclusion.

Bonus Points

  • Experience working with social justice organizations.
  • Familiarity with web design principles and best practices.
  • Experience with logo development and brand identities.

Compensation

$40 / per hour for 10-20 hours/ per month.

We anticipate 10-20 hours of work per month of this, but the actual hours may be higher or lower depending on client demands.

Contract Length

3 months initially, with the possibility to extend for 6 months.
