Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law. Job Description
WANTED: We are looking for a Junior Systems Engineer, with demonstrated experience supporting DoD requirements to join our team in Groton, CT!
As a Junior Systems Engineer, you will:
- Support Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) in Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) of Fly-By-Wire (FBW) Ship Control Systems (SCS) for U.S. Navy submarines in Groton, CT.
- Work with a team of driven, supportive, and highly skilled professionals.

A week in the life of an Junior Systems Engineer:
- Review engineering specifications, documents, drawings, and plans,
- Review system, software, and hardware test procedures.
- Witness Formal Qualification and System Acceptance Testing at land-based test facilities.
- Validate requirements.
- Audits of computer software units.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an Engineering, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, or Computer Science field.
- Have an active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
- Proven experience working with US Navy submarine.
At least 1+ years of experience in:
- US Navy submarine Ship Control Systems.
- Computer programming
