JOB PURPOSE: Commissions and Programs Security, Access Control and Audio Video Systems while performing advanced services and installations

REPORTS TO: Project Manager/ Operations Manager

Pay range: $30-$45/hour Depending on experience

Essential job results:

• ORGANIZES COMMISSIONING PROJECTS: Accept project from project management, analyze, understand, and run the project.
• DIRECTS ELECTRICAL SUBCONTRACTORS: Prioritizing areas of completions, answering questions to assure proper installation, enforcing proper installation methods, verifying proper installation.
• COMPLETES COMMISSIONING PROJECTS: Organizing, prioritizing and scheduling start-up assignments; coordinating with programming for needed modifications and corrections for DDC and Displays; organizing turnover to Project Manager for project close-out; following up on work results.
• COMMUNITCATES PROJECT INFORMATION: Updating Project Managers and Construction Coordinator as to progress, deadline information, changes to schedules, change orders. Logging daily work in project manual or work diary.
• ACHIEVES FINANCIAL OBJECTIVES: Cooperating with OPS management team in reviewing monthly job labor cost reports as needed; initiating corrective actions as directed.
• ENSURES PROPER SYSTEM OPERABILITY: Perform final performance verifications as well as owner training and acceptance testing with consultants and end users.
• MAINTAINS INDUSTRY TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE: Attend approved educational workshop, review industry publications, review Dealer Intranets, maintain knowledge on proper installation methods, review product specifications and catalogs on project material.
• MAINTAINS PROJECT DOCUMENTATION: Updating record drawings and sequence changes, maintaining current programming and configurable hardware, collaborating with project managers and programmers to assure that current documentation is accurately and promptly transmitted to and from the field.
• CONTRIBUTES TO TEAM EFFORT: Lead by example, initiate an open and positive attitude, prepare for and attend training meetings, assist in the training of new employees, share technical information with associates, accomplish related results as needed.
• COMPLETES FIELD LEVEL INTEGRATIONS: Staying abreast of integrations platforms such as Crestron, Toolbox, London, Biamp, Extron, Symetrix, Galaxy, Onssi, S2, Napco, Honeywell, Dante and others like this.
