We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Marketing Project Manager. This role is primarily focused on overseeing and managing the operational aspects of ongoing projects within our organization. The successful candidate will serve as a crucial conduit between project management, planning project teams, and line management, ensuring the smooth execution of our marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects
Serve as a liaison between project management, planning project teams, and line management
Regularly review the status of projects and budgets, preparing status reports as necessary
Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem-solving with project managers, line managers, clients, and other stakeholders
Establish operational plans and implement policies and strategies that impact program schedules, customer satisfaction levels, or allocation of time, material resources, expenditures, and funds
Maintain continuous improvement and consistency in project deliverables
Propose modifications to functional operating policies and day-to-day processes
Communicate effectively with internal and external customers and vendors regarding ongoing operations
Utilize practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects, and tactics within one job area
Ensure the impact of work on other areas of the organization is considered in all decision making.
Requirements
Must possess strong skills in communication, sales, and marketing.
Experience in operations and planning is required.
Understanding of policy and compliance in a marketing context.
Proficiency in payment processing and materials handling.
Knowledge of budget processes and quality control is essential.
Demonstrable experience in project management.
Familiarity with "About Time" project management software is a plus.
Ability to liaise with vendors and manage relationships.
Must be able to drive productivity and ensure customer satisfaction.
Experience working with stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in using monitoring tools for project tracking.
Experience in verification processes related to marketing projects.
Understanding of fund management in a project context.
Ability to ensure the quality of deliverables in a timely manner.
Experience drafting and managing agreements.
Track record of managing expenditures within a project context.
