LOCATION: Mount Vernon, OH, USA

In this position, your chief responsibility is to observe, analyze, validate,and optimize procedures and methods involvedin the sub-component part build and final assembly of Ariel compressors. Following final process adoption, this rolewill document the steps, methods, and procedures using videos, photos, and/orwritten instructions in our digital Visual Knowledge Share (VKS) system for theassembly teams to follow during assembly operations. Working in both an office setting and on themanufacturing floor, this role is responsible for documenting theend-to-end processes, and is exposed to each area of our Assemblyoperation. The role works with Manufacturing Engineers, subject matter experts, Assembly personnel, and technical trainers to assist in improving processes withinthe area.

Job Responsibilities / Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in Engineering Technology, or related field of studyrequired
  • 1-3 years of relevant manufacturing experience required
  • Strong focus on continuous process improvement
  • Advanced computer skills and understanding of Microsoft Office programs
  • Advanced ability to work across teams on multiple projects, including,but not limited to continuous improvement, process improvement, equipmentdesign and installation, assembly layout, efficiency and optimization, andcapacity
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to fosterbusiness relationships with internal and external customers
