Cloud Engineer (AWS/Azure)
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer specializing in AWS or Azure to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud computing, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), and platform as a service (PaaS) offerings. This role is pivotal in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability.

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer specializing in AWS or Azure to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud computing, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), and platform as a service (PaaS) offerings. This role is pivotal in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Design and Development: Architect and develop secure, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions using AWS or Azure services.
- Implementation: Implement cloud infrastructure solutions that meet the company's requirements and best practices.
- Automation: Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline cloud operations and management.
- Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor cloud systems to ensure performance, security, and availability, resolving issues proactively.
- Security: Implement and manage security measures in accordance with industry best practices and compliance requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to integrate cloud solutions effectively.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud architecture, processes, and procedures.
- Training and Support: Provide guidance and support to team members and stakeholders on cloud technologies and practices.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on AWS or Azure.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture and services (e.g., EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda for AWS or VMs, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Functions for Azure).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
