Job Description:
As a Central Applications Engineer, you will provide advanced technical support after the sale of the company's products. This role involves ensuring the proper installation, configuration, and ongoing functionality of products across customer environments. You will work closely with both sales and customer teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize system integration, and provide post-installation product lifecycle management. Your technical expertise will drive product success and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the installation and configuration of the company's products, ensuring proper setup according to customer specifications.

  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues during and after installation, ensuring minimal downtime.

  • Oversee the integration of products with customer systems and infrastructure, ensuring seamless compatibility.

  • Interpret technical documentation and specifications to ensure products meet customer performance expectations.

  • Provide ongoing product lifecycle management, addressing maintenance, upgrades, and emerging issues.

  • Collaborate with sales teams to provide technical consultation and customer feedback.

Skills You Will Need to Be Successful:

  • Expertise in product installation, configuration, and system integration.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software issues.

  • Ability to understand and interpret technical documentation and product specifications.

  • Knowledge of product lifecycle management, including post-installation support and maintenance.

  • Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field preferred

  • 2+ years of experience in technical support, product engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience in system integration and troubleshooting within technical environments.

The wage range for a new hire into this position is $97,060 to $133,458.
