Play a leading role in our Platform Engineering unit!

As a Team Lead in the Platform Engineering unit, you will mentor and manage the Transformation and Enablement team. This team is the driving force that ensures best practices and technologies provided by the unit are fully leveraged by all our development teams. Advising developers, integrating solutions and experimenting new approaches is the day to day of members of this team.

The goal of the Platform Engineering unit is to improve developer experience and productivity by providing internal development teams with reusable infrastructure, services, software components, and tools.

Here are the key responsibilities you will face in this role:
  • Leadership & Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and manage our talented team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
    • Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution:
    • Collaborate with the unit's leadership and stakeholders, to develop the team's roadmap in alignment with company goals and objectives
    • Manage the team and the projects through Agile practices
  • Technical Oversight:
    • Oversee the technical decisions, and work closely with the team to define the right technical approach
    • Lead the adoption of best practices in Platform Engineering
  • Software Development:
    • Ensure projects are delivered by providing hands on help when necessary
Here is what will qualify you for the role:
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in a cloud environment
  • Advanced knowledge of AWS and Infrastructure as code
  • Previous leadership experience in working with DevOps or Cloud Developers
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
What would make you stand out:
  • Previously worked as a DevOps or similar role
  • Strong sense of prioritization and handling conflicts
  • Ability to remain tempered in complex situations, working on high visibility projects
  • Experience in a technical leadership role: Mentoring and coaching, hiring, vision and roadmap design, scientific project planning and management, etc
  • Experience in implementing Agile processes and best practices
