The Gist...

We are looking for a talented Voice/Chat Bot Engineer to join our team and create innovative conversational AI solutions. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying intelligent voice and chat bots that improve user engagement and streamline communication. You will have a solid understanding of natural language processing (NLP), machine learning, and conversational AI technologies, with a strong focus on building scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

What Your Day Might Include...
  • Design, build, and deploy voice and chat bots using industry-leading platforms (e.g., Google Dialogflow, Amazon Lex, Microsoft Bot Framework).
  • Develop, test, and implement NLP models to enhance bot accuracy and performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define user interaction workflows, ensuring the bots align with program goals and objectives.
  • Ensure security and compliance with government regulations (e.g., FISMA, FedRAMP) throughout the bot development lifecycle.
  • Integrate bots with existing enterprise systems and databases to provide seamless user experiences.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize bot performance, adjusting based on user feedback and analytics.
  • Provide training and support to government personnel on how to interact with and manage the bots.
  • Ensure the bots are secure, scalable, and compliant with relevant industry standards.
  • Provide documentation, training, and support to internal teams on bot usage and management.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including software developers, data engineers, and UX designers to deliver solutions.

You'll Bring These Qualifications...
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience building and deploying conversational AI solutions (voice and chat bots).
  • Proficiency with bot development platforms such as Google Dialogflow, Amazon Lex, Microsoft Bot Framework, or similar.
  • Experience with NLP technologies like spaCy, Rasa, NLTK, or similar.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, or other relevant languages.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience integrating chatbots with customer support platforms or CRMs (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk).
  • Experience with speech recognition technologies and voice assistant platforms.
  • Certifications in cloud technologies or AI/ML fields.
