Director of Technology Governance

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Technology Governance to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology governance, risk management, and compliance, with a proven track record of developing and implementing effective governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive technology governance framework that aligns with the company's strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Define and enforce technology policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of the technology governance framework.
• Lead the technology risk management process, including identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate governance practices into the technology development and deployment processes.
• Provide guidance and support to technology teams on governance-related matters.
• Stay current with industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to technology governance.

Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in technology governance, risk management, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of technology governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL) and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISM, CGEIT, CRISC) preferred but not required.
• Experience in the Railcar Leasing and Repair industry is a plus.
