  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Technical Lead - DevOps - Security

We are seeking a Hands-On DevOps Engineer for the role of Technical Lead within the Security team. Looking for a professional with strong experience in DevOps and Azure Cloud Computing to join our team in a LONG term contract in Chicago, IL. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days/week on-site work. You will be responsible for the analysis, design, and development of scalable software solutions across the full secure software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.

DevOps Engineer / Technical Lead within the Security - Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop integration approaches for various Azure resources.
  • Work closely with architects and designers to craft technical solutions that meet both business and IT requirements.
  • Develop, test, and maintain scalable software solutions ensuring non-functional requirements such as security, performance, and reliability are met.
  • Create and manage CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth and secure deployments.
  • Ensure seamless integration with Azure services such as APIM, Event Hub, Key Vault, App Config, and more.

DevOps Engineer / Technical Lead within the Security - Required Skills:

  • DevOps expertise with hands-on experience in Azure deployments.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and knowledge of Azure Functions.
  • Experience with Bus Architecture/Event-Driven programming using Event Hub, Kafka.
  • Familiarity with database technologies like MySQL, Oracle, Redis, MongoDB.
  • Proficient with GIT for source code management and version control.
  • Expertise in designing secure REST APIs and integration patterns with Azure services.

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of .NET and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with security tools such as Secupi.
  • Cloud deployment experience and familiarity with Event Consumer/Producer apps.

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience across the full secure software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • A goal-oriented attitude with a focus on delivery.
