Sr DevOps Engineer - to 200k + bonus!!! (SK)

Salary is 170k to 200k + bonus!

Seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to be a key player in designing and implementing the systems that drive our innovative platform. This position will focus on creating and managing production and development environments for a multi-party application, utilizing robust DevOps practices and advanced cloud technologies to enhance our distributed ledger platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, implement, and oversee AWS cloud infrastructure utilizing Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab to ensure smooth code integration and deployment.
• Partner with blockchain engineers to optimize the performance and security of our distributed ledger technology.
• Ensure the application maintains high availability and disaster recovery capabilities throughout the tech stack.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business goals.

Qualifications:

• Over 7 years of experience in DevOps, TechOps, or Cloud Architecture, with at least 5 years focused on AWS.
• Experience with microservices in a production setting, especially using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficient in Linux OS with strong command-line/scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) and knowledge of configuration management.
• Familiarity with databases like MongoDB, Postgres, and DynamoDB.
• Hands-on experience with cloud provisioning using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• Strong analytical skills, capable of applying expertise to devise innovative and practical solutions.
• Experience in developing a microservice architecture.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to design and implement complex automated infrastructure that is manageable.
• A collaborative mindset with a passion for sharing knowledge and learning from peers.
• AWS certifications are advantageous.
• Experience with blockchain applications is preferred but not mandatory.
