  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Description:

Job requirements:
We are looking for a person to support our automation in the lab. The person will be partnering with the Infra team. The partnership will be crucial for the success of our operational model execution and delivering on scalable automation. The detailed role responsibilities include and not limited to

  • Have good understanding of our products lines, tests to run in the lab
  • Plan and strategize for Lab needs including racks, GPS/WiFI/Cellular
  • Able to estimate and propose budget needs for such scalable set up
  • Organize the lab to scale and drive effective utilization of of the space, cabling set up and racks organization for type of testing being run
  • Take an automation set up from Infra team and able to replicate for multiple set ups given the configurations needed (different platform and peripherals)
  • Reporting of lab health and anticipating hardware Failures.
  • Drive requirements for us to scale by bringing scalable automation need to the infrastructure team


Responsibilities

  • Plan for forecasting the needs of similar or extension of the lab in Waterloo location to serve the test automation needs.
  • Work with teams to develop software and hardware systems and develop methodologies and tools to support team members.
  • Coordinate the interactions between labs and engineering.
  • Familiar with basics of lab set up such as connecting devices to hosts, troubleshooting techniques
  • Familiar with Shell scripting and linux commands
