  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Owners' Project Manager | Utility Scale Solar | Solar Developer/IPP

We are partnered with an extremely innovative Solar Owner & Operator/IPP business who are looking to add to their Project Management team. You would be a pivotal figure who is essential in managing projects from late-stage development through EPC, until completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the project delivery process, ensuring adherence to project plans, budgets, and schedules.
  • Collaborate with project development and engineering on local, state, and federal permitting efforts to prepare the project for contracting and construction.
  • Work with supply chain in support of procurement efforts for long lead and owner-furnished materials including materials, racking, and inverters.
  • Be the commercial lead for the project from precon through substantial completion which includes participation in engineering site optimization discussion, reviewing CapEx and production date to ensure final design will meet the internal requirements.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with project stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, permitting entities, lenders, tax equity investors, landowners, and other relevant parties to realize project value drivers.

Requirements:

  • BS or MS Degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or similar field of study.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in construction project management.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and manage complex project environments.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to develop accurate project budgets.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, experience comparing supplier quotes, estimates, and negotiating contracts.
