Description

The TRIRIGA Specialist supports the United States Department of Defense (DOD) by providing CAD and drafting support services within a large secure facility, including 2D/3D drafting in support of various engineering disciplines (Architectural, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Security, Furniture / Equipment, Life Safety, & Automated Controls).

Requirements

  • Creating, modifying, converting drawing records.
  • Handling customer requests and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Associating drawing objects to spatial information within a CAFM environment.
  • Drawing, creating, and updating polylined spaces, area overlays, and query boundaries on master record drawing CAD files.
  • Attaching, publishing, and synchronize polylined drawings to specific location data within a CAFM system.
  • Attaching gross area, gross measured area, and individual space data to the CAFM system.
  • Creating, updating, and developing location and organization hierarchies within the CAD file and publish them within the CAFM environment.
  • Attaching organizations to specific locations and create, edit, and manage space allocations within the CAD file and publish them within the CAFM environment.
  • Creating, updating, and attaching assets to specific locations within the CAD file and publish the developed data within the CAFM environment.
  • Developing drawing labels, label styles, and label themes that are visibly published within the CAFM environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience using IBM TRIRIGA Space Management Software.
  • Experience using MicroStation and AutoCAD software.
  • Understanding of engineering drawings and a master record drawing repository.
  • Ability to walk long distances outdoors to enter and exit facility as well as conduct surveys.

Education and Certifications:
  • Associate's Degree with an emphasis in drafting, geography or related physical or geospatial science such as Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Technology, Cartography, Information Technology, Computer Science, Urban Studies/ Planning or Construction related field.
  • OR A minimum of 3 years' TRIRIGA software experience in lieu of a degree.
