Las Vegas, NV (onsite)

Client is seeking a Design Technician to join the team immediately. The role involves producing design drawings, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Produce design drawings for electrical, civil, telecommunication, and gas distribution projects.
• Coordinate with engineers, internal departmental personnel, and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to design standards and regulations.
• Analyze customer requests for compliance with national and local codes and standards.
• Assist in the development, integration, and maintenance of design standards and processes.
• Prepare Bill of Materials and assist with project close-outs, including record drawings and mapping updates.
• Maintain department records.
  
  

Requirements

• Associate degree in engineering or related field with 3 years of experience, or 5 years of relevant work experience without a degree.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (AutoCAD).
• Familiarity with utility industry design and construction standards.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to use PCs, word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
