Position: HR Technical Onboarding Analyst

Location: Remote - must sit on the East Coast
Duration: 6-month Contract
Pay Rate: $41/hr.

Description:
The HR Technical Onboarding Analyst is responsible for managing all the technical aspects of the onboarding Journey functionality in Oracle's Cloud Human Capital Management System (HCM), known as the Hilton TMX system. This role is integral to supporting HR Technical functions and collaborating with various teams globally, including Human Resources, Recruiting, Security, and business units, to enhance and optimize onboarding experiences. The HR Technical Sr. Onboarding Analyst will also be a part of the onboarding implementation project and work as the testing lead. This includes writing, reviewing, and updating test scripts, and coordinating with the global business partners for testing the functionality of their customized onboarding Journeys. Testing lead will be responsible for coordinating with business testers, following up, and submitting tickets when there is a bug or issue to our Oracle support team. Ability to conduct meetings, follow-up effectively, troubleshoot testing issues, and demonstrate proficient communication skills are essential to be a success in this role. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in the Oracle Cloud HCM Journey module, and a proven ability to manage and troubleshoot onboarding processes.
Another key component is communication. The individual must communicate with confidence, clearly articulate technical concepts, and translate complex language into simple, relatable terms for everyday users to understand. These abilities are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Working as the technical lead during the Global Onboarding Journey implementation.
  • Working with Oracle Consultants and providing feedback that relates to testing.
  • Creating and updating user test scripts for Global Onboarding Journeys
  • Working with business subject matter experts (SMEs) that are part of the Onboarding Journey testing group and coordinating with these individuals to execute Journey testing.
  • Reviewing, logging, tracking and validating defect cases in JIRA in coordination with Oracle Consultants.
  • Providing HR technical support to the Global HR Support team (HRX) related to global onboarding journeys.
  • Creating/Updating onboarding journeys, configurating, maintaining, and troubleshooting onboarding modules within the Oracle Cloud HCM (TMX) system.
  • Working closely with the internal security team to assign appropriate onboarding roles and permissions to users.
  • Ensuring all role assignments comply with security standards and data protection requirements.
  • Collaborating with business units to identify opportunities for future technology improvements related to onboarding.
  • Implementing changes and customizations to onboarding tasks, Journeys, and other related processes based on business needs.
  • Overseeing the technical integrity of onboarding process, ensuring that it remains scalable, accurate, and maintainable.
  • Implementing process improvements to enhance the onboarding experience and align with organizational goals.
  • Conducting regression and Oracle delivered testing
  • Staying up to date with Oracle's quarterly enhancements and reviewing Oracle's documentation.
  • Evaluating Oracle's quarterly updated functionality impact on onboarding processes.
  • Providing business units with detailed information on these enhancements and assist in their implementation
  • Reviewing and testing Oracle's Quarterly Patch Updates, focusing on their impact on Onboarding Journeys and Task
  • Ensuring that all updates are integrated smoothly into the onboarding process without disruption in production.
  • Creating and editing onboarding reports and dashboards as requested by the Global HR Support Team (HRX).
  • Analyzing onboarding data to provide insights and recommendations for process improvements.
  • Experience in creating OTBI/BI reports.
  • Regularly reviewing and adjusting configurations to keep them aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to onboarding, managing, and resolving ServiceNow (SNOW) cases efficiently.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries related to onboarding.
  • Functioning as a liaison between the Global HR Support team (HRX) Onboarding Specialist and other relevant teams, supporting ongoing onboarding initiatives.
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure onboarding processes align with broader HR and business strategies.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Strongly desire Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, or Human Resources
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in HRIS support, onboarding Journeys, with specific experience in Oracle Cloud systems.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in HRIS systems Oracle Cloud, ServiceNow, and OTBI/BI reporting tools.
  • Software: Experienced in MS365, SharePoint, Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel. Experience to Advance Excel skills are critical for this role.
  • Plus: Tableau or Power BI
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, with experience in creating and managing reports and dashboards.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior leadership.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Project Management: Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on technical process improvement.
