Geographic Information Systems Technician
Job Description
Drive Engineering is seeking a highly self-motivated a candidate with 0-10 [AS1] years experience in the transportation industry for a Geographic Information Systems Technician.

The selected candidate will join a team servicing the PennDOT as well as other clients with GIS analysis, ESRI software configuration, LRS data maintenance workflows, road inventory data development, location referencing transportation assets, business process re-engineering, dataset analysis, and integrating business systems. With recent significant federal and state investment allocations in the transportation and related industries, this is a significant opportunity to grow your career in the information technology and GIS realm.

Requirements
BS or MS Degree in engineering, planning, or a related field.
Excellent oral and written communication and time management skills.
Experience with GIS and Microsoft Office Suite. CAD design software a plus.
Knowledge and experience with PennDOT standards and permitting is strongly preferred.

Salary: $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
