We are seeking an entrepreneurial and excellence-obsessed Senior Accountant to join our Finance team at Victoria Beckham Beauty, reporting to our Controller. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage and oversee critical financial operations while contributing to the broader strategic goals of the business. You Will

  • Ensure accurate & timely function of Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
  • Support cash, bank and balance sheet functions and reconciliation
  • Complete ad hoc requests for various financial/admin reports, documents & new projects
  • Partner with Assistant Controller to execute period end closing activities – accrual, amortization, CAPEX, T&E, F/X, Corp Card, etc - ensuring a consistently accurate and timely close
  • Partner with Finance team to reconcile sales, inventory, monthly bank activity, etc
  • Manage and implement controls around intercompany transactions & reconciliation, reporting back to the team with any irregularities
  • Provide insights and partner with FP&A on regular budget/forecast process
  • Execute sales & use tax returns for US and VAT for various countries
  • Assist with preparation of income taxes/financial reviews & audits with outside resources
  • Manage various audits, including local/federal administration in partnership with Finance team
  • Provide admin support with insurance, business licenses, trademarks, etc.
  • Collaborate with all team members and departments to drive strategic planning and decision-making and ensure efficiency & innovation across financial management

You Have

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting in Accounting/Finance
  • At least 4+ years of overall accounting experience
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements
  • Technology savvy with experience in various ERP software (SAP/QuickBooks preferred)
  • A successful track record in setting priorities; analytic, high attention to detail, high level organization and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills with an ability to prioritize, negotiate, and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • A multi-tasker with the ability to deliver in a timely manner in a fast-paced environment
