Salesforce Data Architect (Workato)

Job Description:
As a Data Integration Architect, you will play a key role in designing and implementing sophisticated data integration solutions, with a primary focus on leveraging the Workato platform for Salesforce CRM integrations. You will work collaboratively with clients, Solution Architects, and Project Managers to deliver scalable and robust integration strategies. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping data synchronization strategies and driving integration projects that bridge multiple platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement advanced data integration architectures using Workato, with a focus on Salesforce CRM and related systems.
• Provide technical leadership in all aspects of data integration, working closely with customers and internal teams.
• Develop and document comprehensive integration strategies, including data mapping, transformation logic, and integration patterns.
• Lead discovery sessions and workshops with clients to gather integration requirements and provide best practices for data synchronization and real-time integration.
• Create and maintain integration flow diagrams, API documentation, and other architectural artifacts.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate integration patterns and approaches, including real-time, batch, and event-driven integrations.
• Ensure data quality and consistency across integrated systems through robust error handling, logging, and monitoring processes.
• Develop complex integration recipes in Workato, utilizing advanced features such as custom connectors, SDKs, and OPA policies.
• Implement data governance policies and procedures within integration flows.
• Provide guidance on leveraging Salesforce Data Cloud and AI capabilities within integration scenarios.
• Mentor team members on Workato best practices and advanced integration techniques.
• Stay current with emerging trends in iPaaS, API management, and data integration technologies.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data integration architecture, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Workato.
• Strong understanding of API design, integration patterns, and data transformation techniques.
• Expert-level proficiency in Workato, including advanced recipe design, custom connector development, and OPA implementation.
• In-depth knowledge of Salesforce data architecture and API capabilities.
• Experience with additional iPaaS platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Talend, or Zapier.
• Proficiency in working with various API protocols (REST, SOAP, GraphQL) and data formats (JSON, XML, CSV).
• Familiarity with Postman and Python.
• Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and transformation within integration flows.
• Experience with real-time integration patterns and event-driven architectures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
• Strong communication skills, able to explain technical integration concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in a customer-facing role, leading integration workshops and presentations.

Required Certifications

• Workato Automation Pro Level I, II, and III certifications.
• Workato Integration Developer Certification.
• Workato Enterprise Automation Certification.

Preferred Certifications

• Salesforce Certified Administrator.
• Salesforce Platform App Builder.
• Salesforce Integration Architecture Designer.
