Job Title: Technical Revenue & Accounting Consultant

Location: Remote work

Duration: 6 months on w2 with possible extension

Pay Rate: $47/hr on w2

Experience Level:

3-5 years Prepares financial statements for internal and external users.Collects and analyzes financial data, ensuring that all reporting is in compliance with SEC and GAAP reporting guidelines. Researches accounting rules and regulations and makes recommendations regarding company policy.Assists external auditors as needed.Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision.

A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

What are the 3 "must haves" on the resume?
US GAAP-specifically ASC 606-Revenue from Contracts with Customers
Experience with monthly and quarterly close activities, account reconciliations, problem resolution, audit schedule preparation and working with external and internal auditors
Hands-on experience with accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, Rev Pro etc.); experience using SAP is a plus
Minimum years of experience: 3+ years of accounting experience
What is the minimum education requirement? Preferably CPA or Masters in Accounting
