Pay Range: $32.62 - $48.93/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Uses knowledge of laboratory science to perform the most complex clinical testing as defined by the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIAA '88) providing safe and effective patient care.
- Maintains strict safety and infection control techniques at all times.
- Practices, develops and endorses customer service skills in relationships with internal and external customers.
- Participate in Quality Improvement activities as assigned.
- Actively seeks ways to control costs without compromising patient safety, quality of care or the services delivered.
- Follows established guidelines for reporting a significant medical error or unanticipated outcome in the patient's care which result in patient harm.
- Uses occurrence reporting system to report potential patient safety issues.
- Demonstrates knowledge of Laboratory Information System.
- Completes all mandatory education requirements.
- Uses Performance Improvement Plan to improve patient safety.
- Regular, punctual and dependable attendance.
- "Call" responsibilities.
- Ensures orientation of new staff.
- Assumes authority, accountability, and responsibility.
- Participates in cross-organizational activities.
- Formulates reviews and/or revises departmental policies.
- Demonstrates the ability to anticipate departmental needs.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Key Skills:Laboratory results aid clinical practitioners in confirming or ruling out diagnoses, monitoring chronic disease states, and analyzing the effects of medical therapies.

- Medical Laboratory Technologist (MT)
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Florida Licensure as Clinical Laboratory Supervisor.
- Note-Pay Rate : $32.62-$40.77 (3+ years of experience) - $48.93 (10+ years of Experience).
- Shift Time: Available Shifts: Mixed (Rotating Weekends).
