The salary range for this position is $62,250 - $77,813 (min - midpoint). New hires typically start between the range minimum and midpoint based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity.

What You Will Do

Shape, execute, and analyze marketing campaigns to increase awareness of FIRST, engage key audiences, drive team growth, and foster sponsor relationships. Additionally, you will:

  • Craft compelling key messages and long-form content. Manage the editorial calendar and promotional strategies for the FIRST Community Blog, ensuring alignment with brand goals
  • Monitor community and cultural trends, escalating any potential risks to leadership. Ensure brand reputation is upheld across all channels.
  • Drive engagement through social listening, sourcing organic stories, and promoting user-generated content. Work on cross-channel strategies to maximize reach.
  • Produce and oversee digital content including web copy, email marketing, social media posts, and landing pages. Coordinate with external agencies to develop marketing assets and plan cross-channel distribution.
  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for assigned projects, collaborating with internal teams to meet objectives, and assisting in asset creation and distribution.
  • Develop detailed creative briefs and campaign strategies, tracking and analyzing results to optimize future efforts.
  • Collaborate with sponsors to develop and execute campaigns that target new audiences and generate leads.
  • Support global efforts to protect the FIRST brand and ethos by ensuring consistent and accurate representation.
  • Represent FIRST and the marketing team at external events, including trade shows, sponsor activities, and conferences.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Engagement Specialist to create and manage content for the FIRST TikTok account highlighting user-generated content, organizational milestones, cultural moments, and current TikTok trends.

What We Expect

A knowledgeable marketing professional with a strong understanding of campaign strategy, content creation, and brand management. We are also seeking candidates with the following knowledge, skills, and experience:

  • BA/BS in related discipline and at least 2 years of directly related experience.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • An inclusion focused mindset.
  • Excellent written (longform content) and verbal communication skills (copy writer preferred).
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing, social media platforms and TikTok content development.
  • Experience with content management systems and marketing automation tools (HubSpot preferred).
  • Flexibility to travel 5 - 10% depending on the time of the year.
