Entra Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Entra Specialist to join our team remotely, based in Charlotte, NC. This is a long-term opportunity to work with clients on innovative projects in a multicloud environment. You will be responsible for planning, designing, and migrating to Microsoft Entra (formerly Azure Active Directory) as well as providing expertise in Azure Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing complex cloud environments and will collaborate closely with the client's infrastructure team to implement best practices and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the implementation and migration of Microsoft Entra, ensuring a seamless transition for the client's environment.

Design, plan, and consolidate the Microsoft Entra environment, including migrating from Active Directory (AD) to Entra.

Work in a multicloud environment with a strong understanding of Microsoft Entra's integration across cloud platforms.

Collaborate with client infrastructure teams to provide technical recommendations, develop action plans, and ensure the successful configuration of Microsoft Entra services.

Configure, manage, and optimize Azure Identity and Access Management (IAM), including Conditional Access, Single Sign-On (SSO), and app integration.

Implement and manage Identity Protection and Management solutions, ensuring compliance with security policies and best practices.

Use the Microsoft Entra Admin Center to monitor and troubleshoot issues, manage identity lifecycle, and optimize access policies.

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience in implementing and migrating to Microsoft Entra (Azure Active Directory).

Hands-on experience with Azure Identity and Access Management (IAM), including Conditional Access, Single Sign-On (SSO), and App Integration.

Strong knowledge of Azure AD and experience migrating from Active Directory (AD) to Entra.

Familiarity with Identity Protection and Management solutions in Azure.

Ability to work in a multicloud environment, integrating Microsoft Entra with other cloud services.

Experience working with clients to provide technical guidance, configuration, and support for Microsoft Entra.

Solid understanding of the Microsoft Entra Admin Center, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Hybrid Identity solutions and integrating on-premise infrastructure with cloud-based services.

Microsoft certifications in Azure, Identity and Access Management, or related technologies.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a client-facing role.

Experience in security best practices for identity management and access control in cloud environments.
