Job Overview:
The PLM Technical Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the
implementation, customization, and maintenance of Product Life Management
systems within the organization. This role entails managing project timelines,
resources, and budgets to ensure the successful delivery of PLM solutions that align
with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Design: Define project scope, establish timelines,
assess resource needs, and set milestones for PLM initiatives.
Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate a team of PLM professionals,
including developers, consultants, and analysts, fostering collaboration and
productivity.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with
stakeholders, providing updates on project status and proactively addressing
any concerns.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to
effectively mitigate them.
Implementation Oversight: Ensure PLM solutions are implemented
effectively and optimized for the client's business processes.
Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and ensure projects are
completed within financial constraints.
Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any issues that arise during the
project lifecycle to ensure smooth operations.
Post-Implementation Support: Provide ongoing support and maintenance
for PLM systems after project completion to ensure continued success.
Qualifications:
Education:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems,
Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience as a Project Manager in the PLM domain,
with a strong understanding of PLM systems and their implementation.
Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certifications
are highly desirable.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in PLM software (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter,
PTC Windchill), MS Office, MS Project, and other project management tools.
Soft Skills: Excellent organizational, leadership, decision-making, and
communication skills.
