Job Title : Project Manager 1
Location : Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 remote) | Pittsburgh, PA 15222
Duration : 12 Month Contract to Hire

Position Overview : This role supports an ongoing portfolio of initiatives within the Information Security Group (ISG) by leading multiple projects aimed at enhancing security protocols, managing risks, and ensuring compliance. The Project Manager will work closely with the ISG Program Manager to ensure alignment across all initiatives, driving project success through proactive leadership, clear communication, and a focus on delivering within the established time, budget, and scope.

Required Skills/Experience :
  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale projects, particularly within information security.
  • Strong ability to work under time constraints and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in stakeholder management, ensuring clear and transparent communication.
  • Ability to take initiative and drive decision-making processes in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience with resource management, including prioritization and allocation of team members.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical scenarios to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Preferred Skills (But Not Required) :
  • Experience working within Financial Services or other regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with project financial management, including budgeting and resource tracking.

Day to Day/Responsibilities :
  • Define and own project charters, developing clear delivery plans and timelines.
  • Schedule, plan, and lead regular project-related meetings and working sessions to ensure progress.
  • Manage project dependencies, prioritize tasks, and resolve conflicting demands on resources.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders and senior managers, maintaining transparency about project status, risks, and issues.
  • Manage and document project risks, issues, and blockers, escalating when necessary to ensure timely resolution.
  • Oversee project financials, including budgeting and resource management, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Lead resource prioritization sessions, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Work closely with ISG Program Manager to ensure initiatives align with the broader ISG portfolio.
