Job Title: Technical Program Manager (TPM)
Job Summary: The Technical Program Manager (TPM) is essential in overseeing customer programs, managing engineering services through the entire development lifecycle from industrialization to production and ongoing management. This role ensures the delivery of optimal technical solutions while acting as the primary liaison among Customer Organizations, Industrial teams, Testing, and Quality Engineering. The TPM will effectively manage product costs, timelines, technical feasibility, and quality risks.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project completion, overseeing multiple projects while meeting delivery targets and budgets.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals and progress.
Technical Evaluation: Understand customer technical requirements, assess production feasibility, and develop tailored recommendations and solutions.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
Cost Analysis: Develop and review comprehensive production cost analyses based on MPC and PPC results.
Proposal Support: Assist the Customer Organization in creating customer proposals and quotations.
New Product Introduction (NPI): Lead NPI initiatives and coordinate process setups with internal stakeholders.
Process Improvement: Continuously enhance processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, maximize profitability, and uphold high-quality standards.
Qualifications:
Educational Background: Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in project management within the electronics industry.
Technical Knowledge: Extensive understanding of production processes for electronic, precision mechanical, and electromechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
