Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking to add a M365 Specialist to our high performing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the Exchange Online environment, as well as other M365 collaboration tools and Hybrid Infrastructure, ensuring that they meet the needs of the organization and its users.

What You'll Do:

Maintains and optimizes digital work tools such as communications (for example, Outlook Email, Stream, and Intune), collaboration (for example, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive) and process automation (for example, Dynamics 365 (DY365), Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI).
Provides direct support of the Email/Messaging Services, Enterprise Collaboration Services, and Low-Code DY365 and Power Platform Services
Provide support for Microsoft Exchange Online, Exchange Productivity Suite (and other O365 peripherals for Exchange Online), eFax for Business, LSoft Listserv, and identity management integration (for example, Microsoft Active Directory)
Provide support and administration for Microsoft 365 services and apps such as MS Teams, SharePoint, MS Project, Planner, Azure DevOps Server, Forms, Bookings, Stream, MS 365 Office Suite (M365), OneDrive, etc
Provide support services for Microsoft low-code process automation and visualization platforms such as Dynamics 365, MS Power Automate, MS Power Apps, MS PowerBI, and MS DevOps services.
Working with stakeholders, leads the development of an implementation that utilizes the best of IT standards, service offerings and operational needs to provide choices of technology solutions
Provide technical third tier support and training to Exchange users
Participate in team rotation On-Call 7x24x365 in support of escalations
Participate in after business hours operational maintenance activities and deployments for all M365 Collaboration services
Develop procedures for routine Service maintenance/operations tasks
Monitor and respond to issues or service requests reported to the Service Desk and creating and resolving problem tickets for chronic service issues.
Work with other engineers, architects, and product specialists to ensure that the products and components work together to meet the objectives and performance goals as defined in the requirements

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

12+ years of related experience
In-depth understanding of Microsoft 365 (M365) suite, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and Azure services.
Proven experience as an M365 Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar role, with a focus on M365 and Azure cloud environments. Experience with migrating on-premises services to M365 and Azure, including identity management and integration.
Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices.
Experience using approved scripting technology (for example, PowerShell, C++, C#, JavaScript, and JSON) and scripting software to support in-house applications.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications:

Experience with AI technologies and enterprise rollout of Microsoft CoPilot.
Experience with supporting analytics platforms like Microsoft Fabric.
Experience maintaining production level application environments.
Experience maintaining SaaS platforms and toolkits.
Microsoft certifications (e.g. Administrator Expert, Azure Administrator Associate).
Preferred industry experience - Federal Government

Target Salary Range

$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
