UNITY Search is seeking a Managing Director of a prominent PE firm in North San Antonio. Our client, a global leader with over $64B AUM, is looking to expand its $5B fund focused on commercial, mixed-use, industrial, retail and residential properties.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support portfolio management by analyzing financial data to assess historical performance, forecast future outcomes, and provide actionable insights to groups with leadership stakes within the portfolio.
- Develop and maintain financial models to forecast fund performance and returns, leveraging expertise in portfolio management and attribution.
- Provide analysis to support investment decisions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and fund operations.
- Ensure timely delivery of financial and other data to investors as required by agreements, and managing reporting timelines. Review and approve investor reporting data.
- Review financial statement and agreements to ensure accurate calculation of fees and expenses.
- Prepare and review investor report, including quarterly statements, capital account updates, performance analysis, and ad-hoc requests.
- Manage fund cash flow: capital calls, distribution, redemptions, and subscriptions while monitoring cash balances, liquidity.
- Work with asset management and valuations teams with quarterly valuations.
- Investor relations activities too include preparing presentations and managing inquiries.
- Oversee 3rd party administrator to include timely and accurate accounting, reporting, and cash management while adhering to budgets/business plans of investments.
- Debt covenant calculations and reporting.
- Identify opportunities to optimize accounting and reporting to support funds’ continued growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, MBA highly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in fund accounting.
- Open-end fund reporting highly preferred.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively discuss financial details to investors, portfolio managers and C-Suite.
- Travel as necessary.
- Full-time on-site and must reside or be willing to relocate to San Antonio.
