The Role

The Associate Data Analyst works as part of the Tax Shared Services team to support Operations Service Group (OSG) Tax. You will be responsible for researching, designing, analyzing, and delivering reporting solutions. This position will translate business needs into data requests to create insights. The Analyst will perform data analysis and develop dashboards for various functions across tax operations. The Analyst will contribute to the team’s objective by developing data visualizations and business reporting to support operational efficiency and scalability.

The Expertise & Skills You Bring

  • A Bachelor's in Computer Science or Information Systems highly preferred
  • Ability to write SQL queries to extract data from relational databases (e.g. Snowflake).
  • Experience in designing and developing dashboards and reports using Power BI and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work closely with various business functions, document business requirements, create test cases, and prepare reports, user guides, and other supporting materials.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong presentation presence.
  • Proficient project management skills, including an ability to prioritize and meet goals.
  • Identify opportunities to address gaps, risks, and inefficiencies in processes.
  • Demonstrate a high proficiency for accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Motivated with a strong desire to learn and continuously encourages ideas to improve how work is completed.


The Team

The Associate Data Analyst will be a member of the Tax Shared Services team, a dedicated group focused on providing meaningful data insights and automation across OSG Tax. The OSG Tax department satisfies regulatory responsibilities and delivers an excellent client experience for tracking cost basis, federal and state withholding, retirement and nonretirement tax forms, IRS and state tax filing, and distribution reclassification. This team operates in a complex and challenging environment, making the Analyst’s contributions integral to the team and department’s success. This is a team that you want to join!

The base salary range for this position is $47,000-$74,000 per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
