Working as part of a small cross-functional team, this individual will participate in development and support the team's effort to maintain a secure web presence.
Individual will be responsible for managing web security applications to monitor and mitigate attacks on web facing applications.
Ensure internal and external data security, adhering to best practices and compliance standards.
Implement observability across platforms for application monitoring and alerting.
Deploy threat detection and mitigation techniques to ensure data/application security.
Work with auditors to ensure security compliance.
CERTIFICATIONS: (One or more required)
-CompTIA Security +
-CPTE - Certified Penetration Testing Engineer or CEH - Certified Ethical Hacker
-CISA - Certified Information Systems Auditor
CISSP
CISSP-ISSEP
CISSP-ISSAP
CISSP-ISSMP preferred
Essential Qualifications:
2-3 years Experience with operationally managing PCI / ecommerce applications
Previous experience with Human Code Defender product
Networking knowledge
Functional comprehension of web application architecture.
Understanding of PCI Security requirements.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
EXPERIENCE LEVEL:
10+ years of related experience in cybersecurity and NIST standards along with 5+ years of technical writing .
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Management Sciences, Computer Science, Information Systems, Social Science, Education, Human Resources Development, and Psychology or other related disciplines and twelve to fifteen years of experience or Master's degree and ten to twelve years of related experience or PhD and eight to nine years of related experience.
