React Python developer

Position Details:

Position: React Python developer

Location: Chicago, Denver, Washington DC

Duration: 12-18 Months (Possibility of Full-Time Conversion)

Must Haves:

• Proficiency in React.js including popular libraries such as Redux and React Router.


• Strong experience with Python and Flask framework.


• Experience with building and consuming RESTful APIs.


• Knowledge of front-end building pipelines using Webpack, Babel etc.


• Familiarity with databases such as MySQL.


• Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, SASS and JavaScript.


• Familiarity with version control using Git.


• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.

Day To Day:

• Develop user facing features and application using React.js


• Build and maintain server-side components using Python (Flask).


• Migrate existing components to new and recent components


• Collaborate with the design team to translate UI wireframes into high quality code.


• Integrate front end and back-end components ensuring seamless performance


• Optimizing current components for maximum performance and responsiveness.


• Implement RESTful APIs and ensure API integration with front end components.


• Write clean, maintainable and well documented code


• Test and debug code across different browser and platforms.


• Participate in code review and collaborate with other developers.
