This Chief Information Officer (CIO) role requires providing strategic vision and direction to help our client achieve its technology and business objectives. The CIO will act as a liaison with external IS vendors, collaborate with business units to maximize technology's impact on business processes, and ensure all IT projects align with strategic goals. Other key responsibilities include providing technical advice to senior executives, maintaining up-to-date software licensing, developing disaster recovery plans, and monitoring industry trends for potential enhancements.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems (or a related field) and at least ten years of IT/IS management experience in a senior leadership role. Candidates should have experience with IT project management, systems security, risk compliance, and systems conversions. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is flexibility and professionalism in a high-pressure environment. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred, and occasional travel is expected.

The CIO will also manage, coach, and evaluate staff while participating in various training programs as necessary.
