  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Title: ServiceNow ITOM Architect
Location: Remote
Contract Duration: Initial 6 months

About the Role:
Our client, a prominent consultancy, is looking for an experienced ServiceNow ITOM Architect on a contract basis to lead and optimize their IT Operations Management (ITOM) initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of ServiceNow architecture and ITOM best practices to deliver strategic solutions that enhance IT infrastructure monitoring and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and architecture of ServiceNow ITOM solutions, focusing on Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Orchestration modules.
  • Develop an architectural roadmap to ensure scalable and efficient integration of ServiceNow ITOM with other IT systems, tools, and third-party applications.
  • Oversee the configuration and implementation of MID Servers, probes, and patterns for Discovery and Service Mapping, ensuring an accurate and comprehensive CMDB.
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, recommend architectural enhancements, and ensure solutions meet both technical and business needs.
  • Guide and mentor ITOM development teams in implementing automation, scripting (e.g., JavaScript, PowerShell), and customizations.
  • Monitor system performance, identify areas for optimization, and proactively address potential issues to improve operational efficiency.
  • Produce and maintain detailed documentation for architectural designs, configurations, integrations, and deployment processes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a ServiceNow ITOM Architect or similar role, with a deep understanding of ITOM modules such as Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.
  • Strong architectural background with a focus on ServiceNow platform capabilities, including integration with other IT systems and CMDB management.
  • Expertise in scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell) for automation and custom development within the ServiceNow environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, influence stakeholders, and drive the adoption of ITOM best practices across the organization.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a focus on optimizing ServiceNow configurations and workflows.
  • ServiceNow certifications, such as Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) - ITOM or ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, are preferred.
