  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Piper Maddox have recently partnered with a leading Utility-Scale IPP in an effort to build out their PV Design Engineering teams/ Solar Design Engineering teams.

This organization have close to 5 GW in operational Solar assets with a further 4 GW in development.

Together, we are searching for a Design Engineer to join the PV/ Solar team to provide support to the wider Engineering team.

In this position, you will be responsible for the below:

  1. Designing complete engineering design packages.
  2. Performing calculations and designing engineering solutions to meet the needs of the Solar farm.
  3. Reviewing all design specifications and working with the commissioning team to ensure they are put into production.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a background similar to the below:

  • A minimum of 3 years experience working as a PV Design Engineer / Solar Design Engineer.
  • Experience working on Utility scale projects.
  • Background working with PVSyst.
  • Extensive experience working with AutoCAD or Civil3D.
  • Experience working with Power System Analysis tools (EasyPower, Cymcap, ETAP, Digsilent)
  • Experience creating solar design packages including Electrical Studies, Solar Layouts, Invertors, and overall technology selection.
  • Solar experience is a must, BESS experience is a bonus.
