Summary
The primary purpose of this job is to provide management and technical support of enterprise Windows systems, services and applications. Responsibilities include but are not limited to monitoring, incident response / resolution, maintenance, patching, security enhancements, back-ups / restores, application support, and system upgrades.
Essential Functions

Installing, configuring, testing and maintaining systems, application software and system management tools on-prem and in AWS.
Provide technical support for enterprise Windows systems. Troubleshoot, repair and recover from system failures in accordance with operating procedures.
Develop and maintain accurate documentation via the use of flowcharts, diagrams, and other relevant tools.
Perform routine operational tasks, verifying the confidentiality, integrity and availability of all resources, systems, and key processes.
Review system and application logs, and verify completion of scheduled jobs.
Test application and system performance to identify potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work the with application owner or vendor to implement fixes.
Install, configure, and maintain critical backup infrastructure and processes, including managing server and file restorations
Interact with sr. engineers to identify areas of improvement for operational efficiency.
Accountable for delivering on all assigned tasks, projects and business reporting requirements.
Comply with Security, Incident Management and Change Management procedures and reporting practices.
Work closely with technical and non-technical personnel
Participate in on-call service if any failures occur

Education and Experience
Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.
Associates or Bachelor's degree in related field is preferred.
In lieu of a degree, combination of education and a minimum of five (5) years of related work experience is required that provides the necessary skills and knowledge to perform all the essential job functions.
Experience with virtualization, preferably in VMWare ESXi.
Experience supporting managed file transfer systems. MOVEit Automation experience is a plus
Experience with monitoring systems and tools. LogicMonitor and Dynatrace experience is a plus
Experience creating PowerShell scripts
Experience managing on-prem and AWS Cloud Windows infrastrcuture
Experience supporting HP and Cisco UCS hardware.
Strong background in Active Directory, Group Policy, SCCM and Windows Registry
