Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Email & SMS Intern to join our digital team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in executing email and SMS marketing campaigns. You are eager to learn and enjoy partnering across teams. Reporting to the Associate Manager of Customer Journey, this role will assist with support email/SMS building and Q&A.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Assist in the creation, scheduling, and deployment of engaging email and SMS campaigns.
  • Support the segmentation and targeting of email and SMS audiences based on various criteria.
  • Monitor campaign performance metrics and assist in analyzing data to optimize future campaigns.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in email and SMS marketing.
  • Support with the implementation, testing, and launch of our new Customer Data Platform (CDP)
  • Support email/SMS building and Q&A.
  • Additional tasks as assigned.

  • Ensure all duties carried out and actions completed in every aspect of your role, contribute to the short and long-term Sustainability Goals set-forth by the ELEMIS - Climate, Biodiversity & People Pillars

Qualifications & Characteristics
  • Pursuing bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office specially in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Interest in the beauty industry and digital trends.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and customer data.
  • Attention to details and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to successfully multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Please note that our internships pay at a rate of $17/hour and are part-time, HYBRID opportunities - all interns must be able to report to our NYC office on Wednesdays, in addition to a choice of Tuesday OR Thursday. Interns additionally must be authorized to work in the United States for the semester.
