We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities for wired & wireless industrial controls, as well as developing and implementing growth strategies, and building strong relationships with industrial / manufacturing clients.
Responsibilities:
- Drive business development activities to achieve sales targets and expand the company's customer base.
- Conduct market research to identify new trends and opportunities for growth.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance sales and profitability.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure alignment in achieving business objectives.
- Create opportunity pipeline, track activities and actions to move opportunity to order.
- Lead negotiations with potential clients to secure profitable contracts.
- Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in engineering or significant relevant technical work experience.
- Manufacturing experience / knowledge
- Factory Automation experience.
- Industrial controls experience / knowledge.
- PLC knowledge or installation experience.
- Proven experience in business development, strategic planning, and software sales.
- Strong understanding of project management principles.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective business strategies.
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining customer relationships.
- 5 years related work experience.
