Akkodis is seeking a Sr. Data Architect for a Contract job with a client in Richmond, VA. You will be responsible for working with product owners to understand and document requirements while ensuring they meet development and testing standards. Additionally, you will collaborate with scrum masters to track deliverables and communicate impacts to upstream and downstream stakeholders effectively.
Rate Range: $60/hour to $70/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Sr. Data Architect job responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing scalable data architecture solutions that support the organization s data strategy and governance requirements.
Creating and refining conceptual, logical, and physical data models to ensure data integrity and efficiency.
Collaborating with product owners, data engineers, and development teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Overseeing data integration, ETL processes, and the design of data pipelines to ensure efficient data flow across systems.
Establishing data management best practices, including data quality standards and data protection protocols.
Conducting regular reviews of existing data architecture to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
Ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations and industry standards throughout the data lifecycle.
Mentoring and guiding junior architects and team members in data architecture methodologies and best practices.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and data management.
Proven experience with data governance frameworks and best practices in data management.
Strong expertise in data integration, ETL processes, and working with Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence applications.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $70.00 per hour
