We're seeking an experienced Estimator to lead the estimating team in assembling successful bids to build water and water treatment systems across the nation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Planning and Vision: Guide the strategic transformation of customer needs into innovative system designs, aligning with IWS's overarching vision and market demands.
  • Leadership in Technical Excellence: Elevate technical review standards and mentor the estimation team, fostering a culture of innovation and technical proficiency.
  • Collaborative Team Management: Seamlessly integrate efforts across departments, consultants, and clients, enhancing interdisciplinary collaboration and quality.
  • Oversight of Project Lifecycle: Ensure diligent management of project documentation, schedules, budgets, and scopes, from inception to completion.
  • Institutionalizing Best Practices: Champion the adoption of cutting-edge engineering solutions and best practices, keeping the team ahead in industry advancements.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, particularly in water and wastewater plant construction.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and inspire teams, with experience in vendor, procurement, and subcontractor management.
  • Skilled in performing quantity takeoffs, using print reading software, and comfortable with cost estimating software (HCSS HeavyBid preferred). Familiarity with construction financial aspects like estimates, bids, and change orders required..
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, proficient in organizing and driving results, along with excellent presentation, negotiation skills, and a high degree of integrity and trust.

Salary range: $140-$200k annually

*The provided base salary range is used nationally. The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
