We are seeking a talented Senior Analyst, FP&A & Data Insights to join our dynamic team. Position Overview:
The Senior Analyst, FP&A & Data Insights will be responsible for blending financial analysis and business intelligence to drive insights and support strategic decision-making. This role requires a deep understanding of FP&A functions, advanced data analysis skills, and proficiency in business intelligence tools like Power BI.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

  • Own and drive the financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and relevance of all reports.
  • Automate reporting using consolidation and planning software, collaborating with executive leadership, monitoring budgets, and providing regular updates to leadership.
  • Generate new insights and analyses to adapt to changing business conditions and present innovative ways of interpreting financial results.

Financial Planning & Modeling:

  • Automate and enhance forecasting and reporting processes using planning and reporting software.
  • Develop and maintain predictive financial models for revenue, costs, and KPIs, supporting strategic initiatives.
  • Assist with the preparation of annual, quarterly, and monthly income statements and cash flow budgets/forecasts, including variance analysis and cause-of-change explanations.
  • Collaborate on the development and maintenance of a 3-statement financial model and a 5-year strategic model aligned with organizational goals.

Business Intelligence & Data Analysis:

  • Develop interactive dashboards and self-service reporting using Power BI, integrating data from multiple sources.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies, providing actionable insights to leadership.
  • Establish processes to collect, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), driving the organization towards a data-driven decision-making culture.
  • Support the integration and consolidation of data across the enterprise, working closely with Sales, Marketing, Professional Services, and other departments to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.

Analysis and Business Partnering:

  • Provide detailed analysis to identify root causes of variances and address ad-hoc analysis requests from management and ownership.
  • Partner with business units to understand their data needs and deliver relevant financial and operational insights through reporting and analysis.

Professional Development:

  • Engage in targeted training to enhance skills in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, business intelligence, and strategy.
  • Keep leadership informed of project progress with a formal communication system for upward reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, or a related field.
  • MBA, CPA, or other relevant certifications are preferred.
  • 3-5 years of direct experience in FP&A, financial analysis, business intelligence, or related roles.
  • Proficiency in Power BI or other data visualization tools, with experience in building interactive dashboards.
  • Strong knowledge of planning and reporting software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the software or technology industry.
  • Familiarity with data warehouse management.
  • Experience with Workday Adaptive, NetSuite, or similar systems.
