Job Title: E-Commerce Merchandising Associate

Job Description:

Drive e-commerce sales and margin through online item setup and merchandising initiatives. Utilize product catalog web applications to build online categories and product groupings as directed by merchants and marketing initiatives. Launch products to the site according to delivery dates and business needs. Maximize business by brand by style by managing brand and product presentation online, ultimately driving top-line sales and profitability. Execute daily item setup, product categorization, item ranking, and site merchandising. Responsible for all product content and images on the website and for merchandising brands, products, and categories online.

Manage designated online department merchandising objectives for the website. Handle all aspects of merchandising item web content by creating effective online assortments and influencing product setup. Achieve optimal category and product merchandising on the website within the shopping filters and shops that reflect product priorities. Position and optimize top sellers and new products across all e-Commerce partners.

Work under the general supervision of the E-Commerce Production Manager, operating independently within the framework of company policies, procedures, and regulations. Exercise independent judgment and approach in routine and non-routine situations, consulting with the supervisor on policy matters, deviations from normal procedures, or unusual situations. Maintain professionalism and courteous behavior at all times, work as a team player, and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers. Performance is evaluated on operational performance, skills evaluations, customer service, collaboration and teamwork, leadership, and established individual performance objectives.

Assist merchants, customer support, and warehouse operations to resolve operational issues. Represent the online business to the merchant team, communicating the unique business needs for online to achieve a multi-channel merchandising vision. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Hard Skills:

  • 2+ years experience in retail merchandising, e-commerce, or demonstrated proficiency working with digital applications.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
